Winner at Vitalis: Smart initiatives for healthier and richer lives

The HealthTech Award, which was awarded for the first time, is a brand new collaboration between the network GREAT and Vitalis. The idea is to highlight innovations that make a difference to people's lives and health.

The first recipient of the award was Boneprox, a Gothenburg-based company that developed a method to use AI, artificial intelligence, to analyze regular dental X-rays to see if the patient is at risk of osteoporosis.

The jury's motivation is, among other things:

“With a pioneering perspective, which connects the mouth with the rest of the body, the winner of the HealthTech Award 2021 has a patented solution for the benefit of the individual, healthcare and society at large.”
